XML → CSV Converter
Paste or drop an XML feed, get a flat CSV ready to open in Excel or Google Sheets.
About this tool
Most ecommerce platforms still hand you XML feeds, but every analyst opens them in Excel. This tool parses your XML, finds the repeating row element, flattens nested fields to dotted column names, and outputs CSV that opens cleanly anywhere.
How row detection works
The converter auto-detects the repeating row element by looking for
common names first — item, entry, product, row, record. If none of those exist
it falls back to the immediate children of the root element. Most Google
Shopping, Bing Merchant and RSS feeds work out of the box.
Limitations
- • Deeply nested XML (e.g. attribute groups) is flattened only one level.
- • Element attributes (e.g.
<price currency="USD">) are not extracted — convert them to child elements first. - • Mixed-content elements (text plus children) keep only the text.
